Tools for the manufacture of loudspeaker enclosures
Various tools needed in the manufacture of the loudspeakers and their accessories. Possible tools are outlined below:
- A powered jig-saw needed to cut the baffles from the large sheet, and holes for drive units
- The edges can then be finished to size using
- a power plain
- a hand plain
- power belt sander
- glass paper
- A bobbin sander used for inside curves on the cut-outs for the drive units
- A power drill needed for drilling dowel holes
- A engineers hammer used for connecting dowels
- A router used for routing the grooves for the internal baffles
- A soldering iron for making electrical connections
- A dowel jig needed for correct alignment of dowels

Various marking out tools will also be needed including
- engineers rule (300mm, 500mm, 1000mm)
- pencil
- tri square and 45º tri square
- compass
Other items required could be:
- PVA glue
- Copydex glue
- Flux for soldering
